8ship Launches Middle East Sensitive Cargo Line: Batteries, Liquids, Powders

2026-03

8ship today announced the full launch of its Middle East sensitive cargo line. Designed for e-commerce sensitive goods, the service covers UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Iraq with both air and sea freight options.

Supported Cargo Types

  • Battery: Phones, power banks, laptops, power tools, Bluetooth earphones
  • Liquid: Cosmetics, perfume, skincare, essential oils
  • Powder: Food additives, protein powder, cosmetic raw materials
  • Branded replicas: Authorized replicas (with authorization documents)
  • Other: Magnetic items, non-hazardous chemicals
  • Excluded: High-risk dangerous goods (UN Class 1-9), drugs, weapons, live animals

Compliance System

  1. Full certifications: IATA/DGR, IMDG certified
  2. Professional packaging: UN-level packaging for different categories
  3. Documentation: MSDS and cargo transport condition certificates
  4. Multi-channel: Air (5-8 business days) and Sea (15-20 business days)

Why Sensitive Cargo is Difficult

Standard international courier channels reject battery and liquid products. Specialized channels for sensitive goods often have high prices, unstable transit times, and clearance risks.

Reference Pricing (Shenzhen → Dubai)

  • Air (battery products): ~¥28-35/kg
  • Air (liquid/powder): ~¥32-38/kg
  • Sea LCL: ~¥8-12/kg
  • Final pricing varies by category, weight, and destination

"Since launch, orders for our sensitive cargo line have exceeded expectations," said 8ship's operations team. "Battery products and cosmetics are the fastest-growing categories."
